John A. Quirk

John Quirk has been representing individuals and families in Muncie and throughout Delaware and surrounding Counties for more than two decades. A lifelong Muncie resident, John focuses his practice on criminal defense including Muncie City Court, family law, and personal injury matters, guiding clients through some of the most difficult seasons of their lives.
Since 2001, John has served as a Public Defender Attorney in Delaware County, Indiana, giving him extensive courtroom experience in felony criminal cases, juvenile delinquency, DUI and traffic offenses, and expungements. His background includes service as Attorney for Delaware County and the City of Muncie, as well as President of the Muncie Board of Public Works & Safety and the Muncie Bar Association. This blend of public service and private practice gives John a broad understanding of how local courts and government work.
In addition to criminal defense, John regularly assists clients with family-related matters, including divorce, child custody, paternity, and adoption, as well as personal injury and wrongful death claims arising from automobile accidents and other serious incidents. Clients appreciate his straightforward communication style, practical advice, and steady presence in and out of the courtroom.
John is a graduate of Muncie Central High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance from Ball State University and his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. He was admitted to the Indiana State Bar in 1998.

Megan B. Quirk

Megan Quirk brings a diverse background in journalism, design, business, and law to her work at Quirk Law. Her practice spans estate planning and probate, real property and contract matters, small business and non-profit counsel, civil litigation, intellectual property, and a wide range of child-focused and family services.
Admitted to practice in Indiana, Illinois, and New York, Megan combines broad legal training with a strong commitment to collaboration and problem-solving. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property and a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, along with degrees from Ball State University and Harrington College of Design.
In addition to her private practice, Megan has served as a Public Defender/Court Appointed Attorney in Delaware County since 2011 and previously represented the City of Muncie and the City of Muncie Redevelopment Commission. She is active in professional organizations including the Chicago Bar Association, the Association of Family & Conciliation Courts, the National Association of Counsel for Children, and the Indiana Association of Mediators.
Megan is a Registered Civil Mediator and Domestic Relations Mediator, a Registered Guardian ad Litem, is trained in Child Informed Mediation, and serves as a trained Parenting Coordinator. These credentials reflect her focus on helping families, children, and vulnerable adults navigate conflict with as little trauma as possible.
Her community involvement has included leadership roles with the Ross Community Center, Back to School Teachers Store, the Muncie Arts & Culture Council, and service on local historic and philanthropic committees.
